VOL II: From the end of the world

From the end of the world es el nombre del nuevo volumen (VOL. II) de la firma ready to wear unisex GUIDO VERA con base en Santiago de Chile sueña con acercar a través de colores, texturas del entorno, islas inhóspitas, cielos, especies y la noble cultura de la Patagonia a quienes jamás la han visitado. 

From the end of the world is the name of the new volume (VOL. II) of the unisex ready-to-wear label GUIDO VERA, based in Santiago de Chile, dreams of approaching through colors, textures of the environment, inhospitable islands, skies, species and the noble culture of Patagonia to those who have never visited it.

Este volumen valora los textiles y diseños que Guido exploró en el 2016 y que hoy desea posicionar como statement de la firma con el fin de redefinir el vestir de un nuevo comienzo.  

This volume values the textiles and designs that Guido explored in 2016 and that today he wishes to position as a statement of the label in order to redefine clothing for a new beginning.

Respecto a sus materiales, Vera considera las fibras nobles como el algodón, seda y  gabardina junto a textiles que no causan sufrimiento animal presentándose así el “cuero y la gamuza vegana”. La paleta se mueve en tonos tierra, verdes y neutros junto a colores vibrantes y otros primarios que dan vida a una clásica silueta propuesta por el diseñador magallánico quien busca mantener una línea de vestuario práctica, sofisticada y utilitaria pensada para el nómade de la nueva era. 

Regarding its materials, Vera considers noble fibers such as cotton, silk and gabardine along with textiles that do not cause animal suffering, thus presenting "vegan leather and suede". The palette moves in earthy, green and neutral tones along with vibrant colors and other primaries that give life to a classic silhouette proposed by the Magallanic designer who seeks to maintain a practical, sophisticated and utilitarian clothing line designed for the nomad of the new age. .
